I stopped by shortly before Christmas and was looking for some supplies for making Japanese fish prints. One of the employees spent about ten minutes helping me find what I wanted and was able to explain details about the purchases as I am not an artist.
Products are high quality and they have most of what an artist needs. They are helpful and knowledgeable and willing to take time to help customers.
Nice art supply store in a convenient location. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Wide selection of paints, brushes, canvases and many other art supplies. They also have a nice frame shop. Offer student discount so make sure you mention it if you are taking classes.
Nice store. Not as extensive as the location in northwest Portland, but there is still a very good selection of a large variety of art supplies to full the needs of first-time artists to the seasoned professional. There is also a very good selection of Matt board as well as a variety of ink and paper large enough to warm the heart of almost any calligrapher. There are also storage containers of various descriptions for photographers to store their prints to keep them dust and moisture free.
We come here for calligraphy needs, this store has tremendous supplies of art needs
Went for the first time with a friend who needed a few things and wanted to see the store instead of ordering online. This location didn't have the same breadth of products as their downtown location (or web) so a couple items on my friends list could not be found here. One nice thing is if you become a member of their customer program they will honor web prices in store. Actually had enough staff to help within the aisles to answer questions and quickly lead to needed products. Overall great experence
This place is great. Alll kinds of cute and odd little gifts and everything you can think of when it comes to art supplies. They a reslightly pricey but everything is great quality and the people are nice. Totally worth it.
They have allllllllll the art supplys!! Love this place and the amazingly helpful staff. Everyone was friendly, and the store was extremely clean and organized. 10 out of 10 for real
They always help and know how to solve my design problems with whatever piece I'm working on, in whatever medium I'm using. Wandering the aisle helps me find products that I can use in new ways to help me accomplish my vision.
